Khabarovsk, November 1 – IA Neftegaz.RU. The technical part of the project and the engineering survey results of Khabarovsk CHPP-4 received a positive conclusion of Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
This was reported by the press service of RusHydro.
Glavgosexpertiza noted that all the technical solutions in the construction of a new thermal power plant are reasonable and comply with all the requirements.
A positive conclusion is a prerequisite for obtaining a construction permit and started construction work.
RusHydro will begin construction of the station after changes to the legislation and adoption of the regulatory framework that guarantees the recoupment.
Khabarovsk CHP-4 will replace the worn Khabarovsk CHPP-1.
The latter was commissioned in 1954
The project installed electric capacity of the Khabarovsk CHP-4 will be 328 MW, thermal power – 1 374 Gcal/h, the project average annual generation of electricity – 1.6 billion kWh.h
The station will use modern high-performance equipment manufactured at Russian enterprises.
CHP install of 4 gas turbines with waste heat boilers and 5 hot water boilers.
The use of gas turbines will significantly increase the maneuverability of the station, allowing it to flexibly respond to changes of power consumption in the power system.
The new plant will run on natural gas is the most environmentally friendly fossil fuel.
The old station is running on coal, it will allow to improve ecological situation in the region.
Khabarovsk CHPP-4 is one of four projects planned by RusHydro within realization of the state program of modernization of thermal power engineering of Russia, providing a payback of investment in construction and modernization of power plants.
In addition to the Khabarovsk CHP-4 will be built
Artemovskaya CHP-2 and upgraded Vladivostok TPP-2 in Primorsky Krai, and
also built the second phase of the Yakutsk GRES-2.
