Organizations of Gazprom group are the backbone of the participants organized the exchange trades of gas at the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) since their launch.
Stock trading gas on SPICEX held since 2014, consumers gas exchange are located in 48 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Gazprom provides the bulk of proposals on gas exchange and is responsible for the transportation of all sold in SPIMEX volumes to consumers.
In addition, Gazprom and SPIMEX are jointly working on the development of exchange trading in gas.
Including the study carried out for improving the system of accounting for gas supplies, use of new forms and tools of trades.
To further enhance the liquidity of the exchange gas market Gazprom will continue on a permanent basis to participate in the exchange market.
The volume of stock trading will be determined taking into account the established law of limits, seasonal opportunities of the resource base and gas transportation system (GTS) and the principles of economic efficiency.
Gazprom will also take part in the improvement of the legislative base.
The Board of Gazprom were tasked to continue work on the development of the system of exchange trade in natural gas.
