It can transform approaches to uncertainty analysis and building conceptual geological models.
AI summarizes the geological expertise and experience accumulated in the company, and in the interactive dialogue with the geologist expect all possible alternative geological scenarios and suggest the optimal measures for follow-up exploration.
Now the prototype “Cognitive geologist” is being tested on the company’s assets.
It was created in the course of joint work of experts of Gazprom Neft and research center IBM Research Brasil.
