LUKOIL 2021 will reduce the working week and salary in the Central office

It is planned to reduce the working week from 40 hours to 35 hours

Moscow, 5 Nov – IA Neftegaz.RU. Pandemic coronavirus and the crisis on world markets pushes oil companies to optimize. So, LUKOIL from January 2021. intends to reduce the working week of employees of the head office up to 35 hours (from 40) and to cut salaries by 10%.

The LUKOIL management in the era of instability in the oil market and reduce oil demand thinking about improving system management and optimizing organizational costs with the aim of increasing efficiency and financial stability of the company, found Interfax.

LUKOIL has not yet commented on this information.

In October 2020, it became known that LUKOIL has developed a complex of measures on perfection of organizational structure of Central office of management.

In particular, it was assumed some of the functions of the Central office to bring in a specially created service center of support of business.

This will reduce levels of management and to optimize the number in the company and in the subsidiaries.

According to unofficial information the new structure of business management can be translated to 50% of Central office staff.

In LUKOIL said that the conditions of remuneration of employees of the translation are not affected.

The company did not disclose the number of employees of the center.
