Electricity production in the ECO Centre for 10 months decreased by 4.5%. Consumption also fell

In just the first 10 months of 2020 power plants of OES Center produced 182 billion 969,2 million kW.h of electricity.


Moscow, Nov 8 – IA Neftegaz.RU. Power plant of the United energy system (UES) of Centre in January-October 2020 produced 4.5% less electricity than in the same period of 2019.


This was reported by the press service of the branch of so UES – United dispatching power systems Center (TAC Center).


In just the first 10 months of 2020 power plants of OES Center produced 182 billion 969,2 million kW.kWh of electricity.


Electricity generation of thermal power plants in the region for the reporting period amounted to 97,01 billion kWh.h (a decline of 13.2%), and


GES – 3 billion 672,8 million kW.h (an increase of 39.1%),


NPP – 82 billion 286,3 million kW.h (growth by 6.5%).


Electricity consumption in the ECO Centre in January-October were also reduced.


The decrease amounted to 1.8% compared to the same period last year.


Consumption in the first 10 months 2020 amounted to 193 billion 401.6 million kW.h.


It was recorded and the increase in power systems:


  • Voronezh region – up by 1.8%,


  • Kaluga region – by 2.6%,


  • Lipetsk region – 1.8%.


Reducing energy consumption observed in power systems:


  • Bryansk region – by 3.1%,


  • Vladimir region – 4.1%,


  • The Vologda oblast was 1.2%,


  • Ivanovo region – 5%,


  • Kostroma oblast – 8.7%,


  • Moscow and the Moscow region – by 2.5%,


  • Orel region – 3.3%,


  • Ryazan region – on 1,5%,


  • Tambov region – 6.1%,


  • Tver region – 5.8%,


  • Tula region – 1.3%,


  • Yaroslavl region – 3,6%.


The consumption of energy systems in the Belgorod, Kursk and Smolensk regions has not changed compared to 2019


The scope of activities of the company TAC Center includes Moscow and 18 regions of the Central Federal district.


In the management and conduct of the company is 142 power plants.


Total installed capacity of 52.7 thousand MW, the length of transmission lines – revolution of 88.69 thousand km
