Trebinje, October 21 – IA Neftegaz.RU. In the area of Trebinje in Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) will be built solar power plant (SPP) with a capacity of nearly 73 MW.
The relevant concession agreement on 19 October 2020 was signed by the Minister of energy and mining of Republika Srpska P. Cokic and Director of the power company Elektroprivreda Serbia Leonid Petrovich.
The planned capacity of the SES will be 72 and 92 MW.
It will be located on the plateau Zubaz, on a plot area of over 120 hectares.
The project cost will be approximately 51.4 million euros.
The Ministry has developed a strategy of energy development in the Republic of Srpska, according to which by 2035 in the RS plans to build many energy facilities, one of which is SES in the area of Trebinje.
The power plant is planned to be operational by 2022
The concession period is 50 years.
Therefore, the RS government has made an exceptional contribution to the development of the South of the Republic.
The power plant will be continuously profitable since launch, and a portion of the proceeds will be paid in the form of a concession, of which 250 thousand euros will go to the budget of the city Trebin.
In Herzegovina, in addition to SES, and other planned energy projects, and some of them are already under construction.
In particular, we are talking about hydropower projects, and the project of a wind power plant (WPP) Grabac near Nevesinje cost about 80 million euros, the construction of which may begin on 1 November 2020
